Melrose Center at the Orange County Library System

The Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center is a digital tech center located in the Orlando Public Library. It offers Audio, Video / Photo Studios, Fab, Game Design, and Sim Labs and more.

About

Through a generous gift from the Kendrick B. Melrose Family Foundation, the Library developed the Dorothy Lumley Melrose Center for Technology, Innovation and Creativity. The Melrose Center is a 26,000-square-foot digital technology center located on the second floor of the Orlando Public Library.

The role of the Melrose Center is not to compete with professional and/or formal education in the area. We serve the community by providing enthusiasts an opportunity for hands-on exploration, experimentation and experience. Whenever possible, we focus on the use of open source resources, so that our customers have the opportunity to replicate and practice.

Become a member by taking the Online General Orientation or the in-person general orientation.
