This workshop aims to provide an overview of HR basic, challenges, best practices and resources for the small business owner. The workshop will outline the employment life-cycle from assessing hiring needs to effectively managing employees. This practical workshop will cover essential HR “must-haves” and tools and best practices for small business owners. Specific topics include recruiting, legal aspects, employee vs. independent contractor, and employee classification. This workshop will equip small business owners with information, resources and prepare them for optimal employee management success.
